Good old Becks has a cult following in the UK.

As an avid Man Utd fan, I have watched them week in, week out for the past ten years, which has made it extrememly upsetting now he is at Madrid.

I grew up with this Becks and so have become increasingly annoying to see him turn into a media puppet. His next mission is to crack the US - apparently this is why he went for the magic number 23 shirt at Madrid (as in Michael Jordan).

How successful do you think he will be at cracking the US.

They know who he is now, they think he's hot, that's about it... yes and they still think he's in Man U, many went to see the Man U preseason friendlies in the US for him

"Mediocre Celeb Status" The only way he can get further is by playing in the US.
